We're fundraising and need your help

Throughout lockdown and beyond, lonely, isolated and insecure people in our community have found comfort and companionship in our community radio service.

Now we want to bring live church services to those who are unable to attend, including the elderly who rely on live-in care and residents of local nursing and care homes.

We plan to invest in equipment that will enable us to capture the experience of services from St Peter's Church and beam them to our radio station so we can broadcast them live in glorious, immersive stereo sound. 

We're aiming to raise £1,800 with a Crowdfunder appeal and we must hit our target by 27 October so we can have the equipment installed in time for the Christmas services.

Buy a reward

Individuals and companies can buy fun "rewards", such as being a weather presenter for the day, gaining mentions on the radio or presenting your own show - fun experiences or unique gifts that come with souvenir recordings.

£30 lets you be a Shine Radio weather presenter

For £100 we'll train you to read the news on Shine Radio and you'll get to be our news presenter for a day, or you could buy your way into your own radio show. The perfect gift for anyone with a big ego!

If you're in business, £50 guarantees you'll be talked about on-air by our personality presenters and £350 buys a comprehensive promotional campaign including advertising spots on air and promotion via our social media channels.
