Join us for our Winter Wonderland Walk and Christmas Fair in the delightful grounds of Southwick Est
Rowans Hospice Charity is continuing on its long road to recovery following the difficulties caused by the Pandemic, in the last 18 months.
“This exciting new event is an ideal place for friends and families to wrap up warm and enjoy a wonderful Sunday walk. Why not continue the festivities and visit our Christmas Fair to purchase some early gifts at the D-Day Memorial Hall, Southwick”. Associate Fundraising and Marketing Manager, Deborah Pick said, The Winter Wonderland Walk and Christmas Fair will be held on Sunday, 28 November 2021. The walk will commence at 11.00am and the fair will be open to the public from 13:00 until 16:00 however, as we are still adhering to Government guidance, the Charity will be capping entry to the fair to 70 people per hour, so booking your time is highly recommended.
The registration fee for the walk is £5.00 with under 16 FREE, with a suggested sponsorship target of £25 (adults only) to support the Charity. Children are encouraged to wear fancy dress although the Charity has Santa suits to giveaway (subject to availability).
Rowans Hospice Charity is renowned for high quality palliative and specialist end of life care, for those affected by life limiting illness in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire. The Charity’s reliance on voluntary donations remains critical and it is calling on the local community for help to raise vital and much-needed funds. All funds raised through the Winter Wonderland Walk and Christmas Fair will be supporting the future of Hospice care, not only for patients with life-limiting illnesses, but for their families and carers too.
Concluding, Deborah said, “We look forward to seeing our supporters at the event and send a warm welcome to all”!
