Rowans Hospice announces the return of their popular children’s event, ‘Starlit Walk’

Starlit Walk is a sponsored walk of either 1.5 or 3 miles, taking place on Thursday, 26 October 2023, from 17:00 hrs at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Children will have the opportunity to explore the iconic sights of the Dockyard by twilight while remembering loved ones they have lost. The evening promises a wealth of entertainment both before and during the walk, and every participant will be presented with a special Starlit Walk medal upon crossing the finish line. St Ann’s Church will also be opening its doors, welcoming all children to light a candle and take a few moments to reflect upon and remember their loved ones. Fancy dress is welcome, but not essential and children are encouraged to wear bright and cheerful neon outfits, illuminating the pathways through the Historic Dockyard for an unforgettable experience. All children aged up to and including 18 years are invited to participate.
